Hi, I'm Noah Watson

About me

"Hi there! I’m a marketing student at the University of Hartford with a passion for creativity, strategy, and innovation.

My passion for Marketing

What started as a fascination with branding during my early years as a model has now transformed into a full-fledged passion for marketing and business strategy. Today, I’m combining creativity with data-driven insights to help brands tell their stories—and I’m just getting started. Hi! I’m Noah Watson, a senior at the University of Hartford, where I’m pursuing a BSBA in Marketing, expecting to graduate in December 2024.

My passion for marketing began at a young age when I had the opportunity to model for John Casablanca. From live shows to photoshoots, I became fascinated by how brands presented their products and connected with their audience. That early exposure gave me my first glimpse into the world of marketing, sparking a curiosity that stayed with me. As I moved through high school, I began to pursue that passion in a more structured way by joining business clubs, participating in leadership opportunities, and refining my marketing knowledge.

In college, my drive to expand my marketing expertise led me to join various organizations like the Barney Leadership Council and the Hartford Events & Activities Club. These experiences helped me build not only my marketing skills but also a broader understanding of the business world, preparing me for real-world challenges.

In 2023, I had the opportunity to work with The Hartford in a market research role, where I analyzed new business flows and evaluated competitor metrics to uncover marketing opportunities. That experience cemented my love for data-driven marketing and helped me build a foundation for my next major opportunity: an internship with Hartford Steam Boiler (HSB).

This past summer at HSB, I spent 11 incredible weeks gaining hands-on experience in podcasts, website building, content creation, and market research. I also worked with fellow interns on a capstone project, exploring how HSB could leverage generative AI to improve workplace efficiency and innovation. This project allowed me to combine creativity with strategy—an exciting blend that reaffirmed my desire to pursue a career in marketing.

I am deeply passionate about the ever-evolving world of marketing, particularly in how businesses can leverage digital strategies to connect with their audiences in meaningful ways. From the analytical side of market research to the creative elements of content creation, I love every facet of marketing and am excited to continue honing my skills as I prepare for a future career in this dynamic field.

Thank you for visiting my page! I’m excited about the journey ahead and look forward to making a lasting impact in the marketing world. Make sure to check on some of my work and connect with me on LinkedIn.
